Dr. Junghwa Kim joined the University of Louisville in 2019 after earning her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Indiana University, where she studied under Dr. Jacob Rubinstein and Dr. Peter Sternberg. Dr. Kim's research focuses on applied analysis, particularly asymptotic methods and elliptic and reaction–diffusion equations with applications to superconductivity and mathematical physics.
