Dr. Katie Kleinkopf graduated with a PhD in Late Antiquity from UT - Knoxville in 2019. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies in the Department of Interdisciplinary and Public Humanities. Her first book project aims to redress the harm of cisnormativity in the study of early Christian hagiographies by refusing to focus on the body as the seat of truth or knowledge. By organizing with her local UCW, she strives to protect academic freedom and support worker and student rights.
