BIO

Dr. Katie Weakley completed her undergraduate, medical, residency, masters, and fellowship training at the University of Louisville.  She now serves as an Assistant Professor with Norton Children's Infectious Diseases.

 

She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and a member of the AAP’s Section on Infectious Diseases, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS). She is also an active participant in the PIDS Transplant Infectious Diseases Committee and Education Subcommittee.

 

Her clinical and research interests include immunocompromised hosts, asplenia, post-COVID syndrome, congenital cytomegalovirus infection, and unexplained fevers.
