Katy Hopkins, PhD, is a clinical psychologist, healthcare leader, and faculty member in the University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics. She serves as Medical Director of Pediatric Behavioral Health for Norton Children’s Medical Group, where she leads strategy and development of behavioral health services across the pediatric healthcare system.

Dr. Hopkins’ work focuses on building accessible, integrated systems of behavioral healthcare for children and families. Her leadership spans primary care behavioral health, pediatric psychology, developmental and autism services, consultation-liaison psychology, outpatient mental health, and other behavioral health programs across hospital and ambulatory settings. She has particular expertise in integrating behavioral health into pediatric medical care, developing new models of care, improving access, and building interdisciplinary systems that connect behavioral health, primary care, specialty medicine, and community resources.

Her academic and professional interests include integrated behavioral healthcare, implementation and systems change, healthcare leadership, workforce development, quality improvement, and innovative approaches to expanding access to pediatric behavioral health services. She has nearly two decades of experience in nonprofit, academic, and healthcare leadership, including program development, graduate education and clinical training, community-based prevention, and organizational change.
