Dr. Keri Marques joined the University of Louisville, Department of Pediatrics in 2021. She attended medical school at St. George’s School of Medicine, completed her pediatric residency at Vidant Health associated with East Carolina University, and fulfilled a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal fellowship at the University of Vermont. In 2015, she moved to Louisville with her family to take a position in the division of Neonatology at Norton Children’s Hospital. A couple years later, she was named the Assistant Medical Director (2020) of that same Level IV neonatal intensive unit, and is the lead neonatologist of the multi-disciplinary neonatal neurology service. Her primary areas of interest are neonatal brain injury, extreme prematurity, neonatal simulation and outreach education.
