SPONSORED PROJECTS
My research, which focuses on comparative politics, comparative political economy of development, authoritarian governance, and public policy in post-communist Eurasia, has raised over $200,000. I employ a variety of mixed methods, including original elite and household surveys, randomized experiments, fieldwork, archival research, and quantitative content analysis. My research has been supported with two prestigious UW Madison University Fellowships, Mosse Program Fellowship, and the Humane Studies Fellowship, and competitive research grants, including from the American Political Science Association’s Centennial Center and various sections, Carnegie Corporation, Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies, the Institute for Humane Studies, Korea Development Institute, and others.
