Krista Roach, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, WHNP-BC is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in primary care, women’s health, and clinical education. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing and is nationally certified by both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the National Certification Corporation (NCC).

Krista currently serves as a clinician at the Kentucky Racing Health Services Center, where she provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to members of the horse racing industry, many of whom face unique occupational and healthcare access challenges. Her clinical and scholarly work emphasizes culturally responsive, trauma-informed care, improving access to evidence-based preventative care, and chronic disease prevention in marginalized communities. 

Krista is a dedicated educator at the University of Louisville School of Nursing, where she teaches and mentors undergraduate and graduate nursing students. She is passionate about preparing the next generation of nurses to deliver equitable, evidence-based care with compassion and competence.

Krista’s professional interests include reproductive health, health equity, and interprofessional collaboration. She is known for her advocacy, leadership, and commitment to advancing nursing practice through both service and education.
