Dr. Nguyen is an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Louisville. Previously, he was assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science and Data Science, Meharry Medical College. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Texas Tech University, United States. He had worked over 15 years in software industry in different countries before turning to academia career. His research interests include data mining, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, with special interests in TING (Text, Interpretation, Network, and Generative AI). The typical application domains are disaster resilience and health intelligence.
