Dr. Lauren Hayes Austin is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, affiliated with Norton Children’s Medical Group. She currently serves as an attending pediatric psychologist providing clinical services to youth and their families who are impacted by hematological and oncological disorders. She is also establishing herself as a prominent heme/onc researcher. Dr. Austin completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Medical College of Georgia/Charlie Norwood VAMC Internship Consortium. She earned her doctoral degree from the University of Memphis and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at the University of Louisville. Dr. Austin joined the faculty of UofL in 2023.
