Lauren N. Swift, M.D., is a pediatric hospital medicine physician with Norton Children’s Inpatient Care, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. She completed her pediatric residency and was a Richard S. Wolf Chief Resident at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. 

After her chief year, Dr. Swift joined another academic institution as a pediatric hospitalist. She served as the Pediatric Residency Program Director there for 3 years before returning to Louisville to practice pediatric hospital medicine at Norton Children's Hospital. She is deeply invested in graduate medical education, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. She is passionate about providing holistic, patient- and family-centered care to reduce the stress of hospitalization on patients and their families.
