Dr. Lisa Wagner, Professor of Spanish,  received her MA in Hispanic Theoretical and Applied Linguistics from the University of Pittsburgh and her PhD in Spanish Linguistics from The Ohio State University. She joined the University of Louisville faculty in 1999 and has served as co-coordinator of Beginning Spanish (1999-2005) and Director of Undergraduate Studies in Spanish (2019-2025) . Dr. Wagner regularly teaches courses in Hispanic Linguistics, Spanish Phonetics and Diction, Special topics in Spanish Linguistics, and Spanish Language.
