Dr. Lucinda Thurman Wright is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics with the University of Louisville School of Medicine and serves as Medical Director for Pediatric Cardiology within Norton Children’s Medical Group.  She is the physician lead for the Fetal Cardiology Program and the Pediatric Cardiovascular Connective Tissue Disorders and Aortopathy program within Norton Children’s Heart Institute.

A native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Dr. Wright is a graduate of the University of Louisville where she received both her undergraduate and MD degrees. She completed her residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology both at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York City.  Dr. Wright’s clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease using advanced cardiac imaging including fetal echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and transthoracic echocardiography as well as diagnosis and treatment of Cardiovascular connective tissue disorders and aortopathies.
