U of L Family Medicine Physician: Luz M. Fernandez, M.D., is a physicians with UofL Physicians – Family Medicine. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia. She received her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in family medicine. She has special interests in the following fields: Disease Prevention & Chronic Disease Management , Health Promotion and prevention, care of individuals with special needs, and  Women's Health.
