PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

University of Louisville School of Dentistry – Outreach leader for children and moms of children at the 550 Apartment Complex; Dental students were encouraged to participate helping in this underserved community. Dental students have helped with teaching children on Saturdays and with Christmas parties and with an appreciation activity for the moms to build bridges and to let the moms know that we cared for them for all that they do as moms of the children that we served, 2018 and 2019
Support the ULSD Chapter of the National Dental Association with their, “Shop with a Dentist” program. Students fund raise and partner with a local elementary school child, recommended by Jefferson County Schools as a child in “need.” The dental student takes the child shopping for Christmas gifts, returns to the dental school, wraps gifts with the child for Christmas.

MISSION EXPERIENCE

Mission project to Nigeria – Kaduna and Benin City. Served as crusade soloist and conducted women’s retreat, 2005
Mission to Brazil – Aloha Allege and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - participant in dental mission team, 2006 and 2007
Mission project Poland – Warsaw and Krakow, 2007
Mission project Russia – Schekino and Vorschiy, Russia, 2008
Mission projects Honduras – Tegucigalpa and several remote communities in mountainous countryside and HIV/Aids hospital; 2009 Lead dental mission team with ULSD students; 2009. Lead dental mission team, with ULSD students; 2011.
