As the director of the Biostatistics Core in the UofL Brown Cancer Center (BCC), the director of the Research Design, Compliance, and Data Management (RDCD) Core for the NIH-funded Louisville Clinical & Translational Research Center (LCTRC), and the co-director of the Biostatistics and Informatics Facility Core (BIFC) in the UofL CIEHS, I have been responsible for recruiting staff members and closely supervising their professional development as well as their academic collaborations with investigators in the BCC, the School of Medicine, and other disciplines. My work includes guidance on research design, data analysis, and data management. I am also actively involved in teaching and mentoring students in the UofL Biostatistics program and am heavily engaged in research and collaborations in cancer-related statistical science.
