Dr. Khan is dedicated to advancing the care of individuals living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). With a vision for more coordinated, patient centered care, Dr. Khan is leading the development of an integrative interdisciplinary IBD clinic that brings together gastroenterology, nutrition, behavioral health and care navigation to deliver truly comprehensive care.

Committed to building stronger systems of support for patients and clinicians, Dr. Khan successfully obtained grant funding from Norton Children’s Foundation to support institutional participation in the ImproveCareNow (ICN) network—an international learning health system dedicated to quality improvement in pediatric IBD care. Participation in this collaborative enables access to share data registries, multicenter research initiatives, and validated quality-improvement methodologies.

Dr. Khan earned her DO from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2012, and completed her fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH in 2015.
