BIO

Mary Eng M.D. is the Surgical Director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation at University of Louisville Health.

 

Dr. Eng received her medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago. She completed her general surgery residency training at Kern Medical Center. She completed her Surgical Critical Care fellowship at the Brigham and Women's hospital. She continued her training at the University of Washington to complete an ASTS-accredited fellowship in abdominal transplant surgery. She joined the University of Louisville in 2006 and is passionate about improving his patients' quality of life while using an evidence-based approach to medicine. She is the recipient of the National Kidney Foundation serving Kentucky Distinguished Physician award in 2023. Her clinical interests inlude kidney transplantation and peritoneal dialysis catheter management.

 

Dr. Eng is affiliated with the Trager Transplant Center at University of Louisville Health and University of Louisville Physicians - General Surgery.
