Matthew Goldberg is the Access Services Librarian and an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville. He has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in History from the University of Louisville and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky. In addition to leading the access services unit, Matthew serves as the History Department’s liaison librarian, where he teaches full-term courses as a senior lecturer. His library work examines the intersection of history and academic librarianship, with a focus on the information behaviors of faculty historians, historical libraries, and the role of librarians in the field’s information systems.
