Matthew Kinney, M.D., is a pediatrician with Norton Children’s Medical Group--Novak Center. 

Dr. Kinney received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky in 2004, his medical degree from the University of Louisville in 2008, and completed his Pediatrics Residency at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and what was then called Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL from 2008-2011. He has been a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at the UofL School of Medicine since 2014.

Dr. Kinney’s clinical interests include Quality Improvement, Ambulatory safety, vaccine safety, Primary Care Dermatology, and clinic-based teaching of Pediatrics residents and medical students. Dr. Kinney currently serves as the Medical Director at the 4 Academic-affiliated NCMG clinics (Germantown, Novak, NULU, and Stonestreet).
