BIO

Melissa Zipper is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Elementary, Middle, and Secondary Teacher Education program at the University of Louisville.  Melissa obtained her PhD from the University of Louisville in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Languages, Literacies, Cultures, and Communities.  Before joining the faculty at UofL, Melissa was a public school educator who held various roles in numerous districts, with the majority of her time spent as a high school English teacher and Academic Instructional Coach at the K-12 level.
