I am an Associate Professor of Humanities here at U of L and currently the Director of Undergraduates Studies in the Humanities Department.  I hold a Ph.D. in Humanities with areas of specialization in Postmodern Philosophy, Zen Buddhism and Pragmatism. My areas of concentration are creativity, continental philosophy, and comparative religion, including Indian and Japanese Buddhism and East Asian Religions. I have taught courses in Humanities and Civic Leadership, World Religions, Introduction to Ethics, Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to the Study of Religion, Religion and Literature, Introduction to Eastern Religions, Daoism, Renegade Philosophers, Culture of the Modern Era, and Eastern Mysticism. I am married and have two children.
