BIO

Dr. Michele Gallo received his Doctor of Medicine diploma from the University of Padova in Padova, Italy, in 2010. He completed his residency in cardiac surgery at the University of Verona in Italy in 2016, and his fellowship in mechanical circulatory support at the University of Louisville in 2017.

 

Dr. Gallo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at UofL, and also serves as the Assistant Director of the Structural Heart Program for the department.
