Ming Song, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor at the University of louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Song received his Ph.D. in Hepatology from the Capital Medical University. After postdoctoral work at University of Louisville, he became an assistant professor of Medicine at the University of  Lousiville School of Medicine where his lab studied metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). His research focuses on understanding the role of dietary fructose, fructose-copper, and fructose-alcohol interactions on the MASLD development and progression.
