Dr. Natalie DuPré joined the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health in November 2018. She currently teaches epidemiology methods courses for the MPH, online MS, and PhD programs at UofL SPHIS and mentors students in these programs. She also conducts collaborative reseach investigating the role of environmental factors that influence carcinogenesis and cancer progression in humans, particulary colorectal cancer and breast cancer, by combining expertise across cancer and environmental epidemiology. She has led research to identify small areas of high incidence of common cancers in Kentucky and has co-led the development of Louisville Environmental Assessments Pilot Study in Colorectal Cancer (LEAPS-CRC) funded by UofL's P30 Center for Integrative Environmental Health Sciences (CIEHS) Pilot Project Program. Natalie received her B.A. in Neuroscience from Middlebury College, her M.S. and ScD in Epidemiology from the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and completed her post-doctoral studies at the Brigham and Women's Hospital (Boston, MA).
