Neetu Tyagi is an Associate professor at Department of Physiology, University of Louisville. She actively serves on several NIH, AHA, and VA review panels. Additionally, she serves as an Associate Editor for Neuro-Molecular Medicine and Current Trends in Biotechnology & Pharmacy. Her research focuses on uncovering novel mechanisms that regulate brain and bone homeostasis, with implications for understanding and treating neurodegenerative diseases like ischemic stroke and Alzheimer’s, as well as metabolic bone disorders such as osteoporosis. Dr. Neetu has successfully obtained research funding as a principal investigator from National Institute of Health and American Heart Association.
