Omar Moustafa, BDS, MSc, MS, FRCDC, FACP is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitative & Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD). He earned his BDS and a master’s degree in Conservative and Esthetic Dentistry from Cairo University, followed by advanced prosthodontics training at The Ohio State University, where he also earned a second master’s degree. Dr. Moustafa is board certified in prosthodontics in both the United States and Canada. He teaches prosthodontics to dental students and residents in ULSD’s Advanced Education in Prosthodontics program and serves as Director of the Preclinical Fixed Prosthodontics course. His academic and clinical interests emphasize evidence-based dentistry, digital workflows, and translational research in prosthodontics.
