Paul Griner is the author of the novels The Book of Otto and Liam, Collectors, The German Woman, and Second Life, and the story collections Follow Me and Hurry Please, I Want to Know.  He’s been published in seven languages, and in journals and magazines including Ploughshares, One Story, Zoetrope, Narrative, Tin House, Bomb, and Oprah Daily.

The Book of Otto and Liam was longlisted for the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction       in 2021, Hurry Please I Want To Know won the Kentucky Literary Prize in 2016, and Follow Me was a Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers pick.

He’s a former Fulbright scholar, and a graduate of the University of New Hampshire (BA/History), Harvard University (MA/Romance Languages and Literatures), and Syracuse University (MA/Creative Writing).
