Dr. Rana K. Latif is Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist with advanced training in critical care echocardiography and extensive international experience in clinical anesthesiology, medical education, and simulation-based training. His academic interests focus on airway management, perioperative patient safety, critical care, and educational outcomes research. Dr. Latif has developed innovative simulation-based curricula, mentors trainees and faculty, and has received national recognition for his contributions to anesthesiology education and educational research.
