Dr. Singhal’s research focuses on advancing cardiovascular science through collaborative, multi-omics-driven discovery. She applies her expertise in molecular biology and bioinformatics to interdisciplinary research programs addressing complex biological questions related to cardiometabolic disease, biomarker identification, and therapeutic development.
Her primary areas of focus include:
· Collaborative Experimental Design: Collaborating with research teams to develop omics-informed experimental strategies tailored to specific scientific aims.
· Multi-Omics Data Integration: Processing, analyzing, and integrating complex datasets across transcriptomics, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, metagenomics, single-cell RNA sequencing, and spatial transcriptomics.
· Bioinformatics and Data Science: Developing customized pipelines, algorithms, and models for robust analysis and interpretation of large-scale multi-omics data.
· Wet–Dry Lab Integration: Optimizing research protocols, merging experimental and computational frameworks to explore mechanisms underlying cardiometabolic health and disease.
