TEACHING & MENTORING
Engaging with students has also been an important component of my service to research. Beyond formal teaching, I have mentored medical students in the Distinction in Global Health or Research tracks, focusing on wastewater-based epidemiology and public health. Additionally, I have mentored University of Louisville students across multiple schools, including Engineering, Public Health and Arts and Sciences. My community-engaged service has also extended internationally. In Malawi, I served as chair of the yearly Girls Science Day outreach events, each involving approximately 250 girls and centered on environmental health themes.
