I have extensive experience in the core focus area of upper and lower airway disease, I participated as the principal investigator (PI) in several clinical trials in CF (cystic fibrosis) research . My research in lower airway disease led to the development of an observational study on the role of inhaled beclomethasone HFA on small airway lung function in asthma. I published several peer reviewed papers on the role of small airways in asthma. I published in the area of upper airway disease (i.e. obstructive sleep apnea) and its correlation with severe asthma
