Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching nursing students at all levels, ranging from nursing assistants to doctoral candidates.  My research interests lie in the areas of art-based pedagogy, virtual reality in mental health nursing curriculum, human sex traffick survivors, and consciousness.  I have been an active participant in both the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) and the Kentucky Psychiatric Nursing Association (KPNA).  Additionally, I am a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, where I have actively contributed to the advancement of nursing scholarship, leadership, and excellence.
