BIO
Dr. Susan A. Peters is a mathematics educator and a professor in the Department of Elementary, Middle, and Secondary Teacher Education. Her research focuses on teacher education and statistics education, and her work has been published in research and practitioner books and journals, including the Journal for Research in Mathematics Education, Journal of Mathematics Teacher Education, Statistics Education Research Journal, Mathematics Teacher, and Statistics Education Web (STEW). Her early work was recognized when she was awarded the 2016 Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators Early Career Award. In 2025, she was receipient of the UofL Distinguished Faculty Award for Service to the profession.
