Dr. Sara Watson is an Associate Professor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where she has served since 2014. She is the Director of the Type 2 Diabetes Clinic and the Healthy Weight and Wellness program. Dr. Watson's research focuses on improving outcomes for children and youth with diabetes, with particular emphasis on underserved populations and diabetes complications. She is a Multi-Principal Investigator of the Kentucky Pediatric IDeA Research Center, part of the NIH funded Idea States Pediatric Clinical Trials Network.
