BIO

As the Assistant Vice President of Digital Transformation and a tenured Associate Professor faculty member at the University of Louisville, I have over 20 years of experience in innovation and entrepreneurship education, research, and practice. I have a PhD in Business/Education/Entrepreneurship and multiple certifications in artificial intelligence and data analysis from IBM and Microsoft.

I am passionate about creating and delivering cutting-edge programs and courses that empower students, faculty, and community members to solve real-world problems, launch successful ventures, and contribute to social and economic development. I have secured and managed over $18 million in grants, awards as PI, and contracts to support various initiatives, including Cybersecurity, the VetStart program, the Engineering the Future Grand Challenge, and the Digital Transformation Center. I have also received numerous recognitions and honors for my leadership, mentoring, and advocacy, including being named to the Top 50 Women Business Leaders in Kentucky, the SBA Military Veteran Business Advocate of the Year, and the Business First Enterprising Woman Mentor of the Year. Honored to receive " Today's Woman magazine “Most Admired recognition as well.
