Dr. Shelby Steinmeyer is a board-certified neonatologist with training from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he completed both his pediatrics residency and neonatology fellowship. He earned his MD/PhD from the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and holds active medical licenses in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology at the University of Louisville. His work has been recognized through multiple awards, including the T32 Pulmonary Development and Disease Training Fellowship and the Marshall Klaus Neonatal/Perinatal Research Award. Dr. Steinmeyer brings a strong foundation in research and clinical care, with a commitment to advancing outcomes for high-risk newborns.
