Dr. Siddharth Pawha earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India, in 2007. He completed his residency in general surgery at Government Medical College in Patiala, India, in 2011. He then completed a cardiothoracic residency at Jayadeva Cardiac Institute in Bangalore, India, in 2014. He completed 2 fellowships at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN: the first in advanced cardiovascular surgery was completed in 2019, the second in MCS and cardiothoracic transplant in 2020.

Dr. Pahwa is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the UofL School of Medicine, and has served as the Division Chief of Adult Cardiac Surgery since 2023. He is also the Surgical Director of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, and the Co-Chair of the Community Health and Welllness Committee with the Greater Louisville Medical Society.
