Dr. Tarin Williams is a Professor at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry . Dr. Williams graduated from the University of Louisville school of Dentistry and spent ten years in private practice in western Kentucky. She serves as course director for Introduction to Clinical Dentistry and Clinical Operative Operative Dentistry and strives to use innovative teaching techniques to prepare students for patient interaction and treatment in the comprehensive care clinics. She feels that in order to improve education and understanding of the material there must be a partnership between faculty and students.

Dr. Williams enjoys many different topics in research but focuses on pedagogic research where she investigates her teaching practice and in turn improves and develops the curriculum. Her research interests include:
