Dr. Tiffany McPheeters, DDS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where she has been a faculty member since January 2021. A general dentist by training, Dr. McPheeters brings a unique blend of clinical experience, academic dedication, and personal passion to her work—particularly in the area of special needs dentistry. At UofL, Dr. McPheeters teaches predoctoral comprehensive dentistry and serves as a faculty advisor for both the Student National Dental Association and the Special Care Dentistry Association. Dr. McPheeters' advocacy extends beyond the classroom. She is a fellow in the Primary Interdisciplinary Care Educators Fellowship, a program designed to enhance research skills and secure funding for initiatives that improve interdisciplinary care. Her work not only educates future dental professionals but also strives to create systemic changes that ensure equitable oral health care for all, especially those with special needs. Through her teaching, mentorship, and community engagement, Dr. McPheeters exemplifies the integration of personal experience with professional expertise to advance the field of dentistry and advocate for vulnerable populations.​
