Toru Deguchi, DDS, MSD, PhD, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Rehabilitative and Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He earned his DDS from Aichi-Gakuin University, a PhD from Okayama University, and an MSD from Indiana University. His teaching and clinical work focus on orthodontics, supported by extensive research activity and service to multiple professional organizations. Dr. Deguchi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
