I have the pleasure of serving both the University and extramural organizations. I serve as a board member of the University's Institutional Review Board (providing comments to improve studies) and also support the School of Medicine faculty forum in various roles (developing reports, presenting updates, and participating in administrative processes). I also serve as a judge during the research Louisville meetings and STEM programs, both at the county and state levels. I also serve journals in various roles, including editorial board and reviewer. I have served in various roles across research and clinical organizations. At the Research Society on Alcohol, I am an active member of the Advocacy and Publication committees. In the publication committee, I rank the papers in the ACER journal for scholastic awards. For the advocacy committee, I have been a panelist at the RSA symposia, and I also help in developing and editing the policy reports for the group. At the AASLD, I am a SIG member for the ALD sub-committee. At ACCP, I serve in different roles. For the past two years, I have been one of the ambassadors of the organization. I also serve the education committee as the co-chair. I have various roles in it while managing the group. In my management, the ACCP education committee has expanded to the largest number. I conduct monthly meetings, develop reports for the board, and conduct in-person meetings at the conference. I also develop clinical curriculum for CME/CE, pearls for practice, and am a voting member for several organization-level decisions. I have served this committee in several roles as moderator of presentations, reviewer, and planner of the presentations.
