Dr. Carpenter is a board‑eligible obstetrician‑gynecologist who recently joined the University of Louisville as an Assistant Professor and Generalist OB‑GYN (July 2025). She completed her OB‑GYN residency at Las Palmas Del Sol Medical Center (expected 2025) and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine (2021). Earlier, she obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology (2017) and a Certificate in Cell and Molecular Biology from Duke University, building on a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from New Mexico State University (2011).
