Dr. Wayne Rice is a pediatric emergency medicine physician with Norton Children's Emergency Medicine.  He grew up in the Northeast, moving to Kentucky after graduating from medical school, completing his pediatric residency at the University of Louisville.  He spent a few years as a primary care pediatrician, then returned to U of L for his fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He has been an attending physician here at Norton Children's Hospital since 2011, working primarily as a nocturnist. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, restoring vintage motorcycles, and traveling.
