Dr. David Lohr is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, affiliated with Norton Children’s Medical Group. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of the Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) at

the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS). Dr. Lohr earned his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his residency in psychiatry at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and continued to complete his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic at the University Health Center of Pittsburgh. Dr. Lohr served as gratis faculty with UofL starting in 2003 and joined full time as clinical and teaching faculty in 2010.
