Dr. Wilmer M. Abshier, DMD, MS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. His background includes a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Western Kentucky University, a DMD and General Practice Residency from the University of Kentucky, and an MS in Health Professions Education from the University of Louisville. He teaches in areas such as pain control, anxiety management, and clinical team leadership while also participating in faculty practice.
