W.S. Tkweme teaches courses on various aspeects of black music and post-World War II cultural and political initiatives. He has also served as the Pan-African Studies department's director of graduate studies since 2019. Some of the other activities related to PAs include the PAS Book Club and the Blackness 101 weekly series at Central High School, the SEBEK Challenge black history quiz at the U of L, and the PAS & Friends monthly online discussion series.
