In recent years, my research has focused on the Zeb1-regulated corneal response to chemical insults and RPE cell reprogramming. I published multiple Zeb1-related papers in high impact journals such as Nature Communications, Nature Cell Biology, Science Advances, Cell Stem Cell, Development, Stem Cells, eBioMedicine, Communication Biology, Cells, iScience and Stem Cell Research & Therapy. My long-term goal is to study Zeb1-regulation of ocular diseases, to understand the underlying mechanisms and to formulate novel strategies for future clinic applications.
