Dr. Yun Teng, M.D., Ph.D.,  is an Assistant Professor at the Brown Cancer Center, University of Louisville School of Medicine, with extensive expertise in cancer biology, extracellular vesicles, and host–microbe interactions. He received his M.B., M.S., and Ph.D. from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Since joining the University of Louisville in 2004, Dr. Teng has advanced from postdoctoral scholar to faculty, leading multiple NIH-funded projects focused on plant- and microbiota-derived nanoparticles, neuroinflammation, and tumor immunology. He has authored numerous high-impact publications, including senior-author papers in Nature Communications, Cell Host & Microbe, and Advanced Science.
